Tour du Cervin - wandelkaart 1:50.000

The Tour du Cervin was officially established in 2002 and is an 8-stage trek, usually completed counterclockwise around the Matterhorn. The usual starting point is Randa in the Mattertal, but the closure of an important stage stop requires us to start from Lac de Moiry in Val d'Anniviers. The tour covers six valleys: Mattertal, Turtmanntal, Val d'Anniviers, and Val d'Hérens in Valais, as well as Valpelline and Valtournenche in the Aosta Valley. It crosses spectacular high-altitude passes in an alpine environment. This trek is classified as having mountaineering difficulty and involves crossing two glaciers with the use of crampons, which may require the assistance of a mountain guide. Guides typically accompany hikers across the Collon and Teodulo passes. Included is a printed map on an eco-friendly, waterproof, and durable material, featuring a UTM WGS84 kilometer grid.
