This route connects Builth Wells in the heart of Wales to the attractive finishing points of Cardiff or Chepstow. Route 42 connects Hay on Wye to Abergavenny via a taste of the Black Mountains, whilst the largely traffic free Taff Trail links Brecon to Cardiff.
