A walk across England

This text records Richard Long's 1995 journey on foot from Devon to Suffolk a walk of 382 miles which took 11 days. In his regular work as an artist, Long uses basic elements from the natural world stones, mud and water. His walk reveals his interaction with the landscape around him.
